Students explore rhythm, notation, scales, intervals, chords, and musical form while building the confidence to create, perform, and audition. Using the Ultimate Music Theory curriculum as a foundation, students strengthen their musicianship while exploring their own musical interests.
No prior music theory experience is required. This class is designed for beginners and is also an excellent supplement for students already studying piano, voice, band, orchestra, guitar, or other instruments. Music theory helps students better understand what they are learning in lessons while building confidence, creativity, and overall musicianship.
